Question:
I own a Satellite A500-138 – Part Number: PSAM3E-013014H2.
I just finished upgrading the O/S from the horrible vista to Windows 7 Ultimate 64. Upgrade was smooth. Drivers and utilities were easily located on your website and install correctly. Almost all seems to be working OK…

I’m left with 2 issues:
1. Device manager still shows one “Unknown Device”.
Device Details show hardware IDs of ACPI/ENE0200 and *ENE0200
what is it and where can I find its driver?

2. I can’t locate the cool LAN/WLAN manager utility that came with vista.
The Bluetooth stack was successfully installed and appears correctly in device manager so i assume it is not that.

Solution:
Have you checked the device and vendor ID of the unknown device? You can check this in properties of device.
Maybe it’s the Bluetooth adaptor if your notebook is equipped with such one…

Regarding the WLAN tool, I think you mean “ConfigFree”. You can download it on the Toshiba website. Maybe the Vista version works also on Windows 7.
